It’s not the rich smooth voice of CeCe Winans. It’s not the amazing voice of this person, or the sultry voice of that person, but it’s the voice of a heart crying out to God in song as she wrote the lyrics, “God will take care of you” from her sick bed!
This hymn was written back in 1905 and still rings through- out this generation to those who remembers it, that “God will take care of you”.
This one sentence of hope, this one sentence of help and comfort to a weary, discouraged and disillusioned soul.... HOPE
that comes from a divine, awesome, loving and powerful God, is what we need to hear in these politically appalling, economically challenging and socially concerning times we are facing!
Whether we’re young, old, rich, poor, whatever is our ethnicity, it doesn’t matter, we need to know that there is someone who is ABLE to take care of us…. who is WILLING to take care of us and who has PROMISED to take care of us! Someone who cannot be voted out, bought out, kicked out, or taken out!
Not just anyone, but we’re talking about the Creator of Heaven and Earth, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, and He Says in his Word “I’ll never leave you or forsake you. I’ll be with you always even to the very end”.
The songwriter got a glimpse of this as she declared that, THIS God will take care of you, and in the old English style of writing she says:
Be not dismayed whate'er betide
God will take care of you
Beneath His wings of love abide
God will take care of you

My heart is so encouraged today to know that I serve a God who……
Ø I’m reminded will take care of me.
Ø I’m reminded will always make a way
Ø I’m reminded that He is a promise keeper and He keeps His promises and His promises are yea and amen.
So be encouraged my sister, be encouraged my brother, God WILL take care of you as you continue to trust, obey and believe His Word as we are reminded in Psalm 121:
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.
6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
8 The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
God will take care of you.
Blessings, always.
